Multiple Hydraulic Press System with Unified Controls for Rubber Molding
TMP has introduced a line of modular presses that combine a number of hydraulic press units with unified controls and hydraulics.
Saving both space and costs, the modular hydraulic press systems are available in all sizes, with most common models being 30, 50 or 100 tons. Typical platen sizes are 12″ x 12″, 15″ x 15″, or 20″ x 20″. According to Dave Sledz, Vice President of TMP, “While these presses are offered in three standard sizes, we can design them in any size and with a wide variety of options.” The most popular option being the full vacuum enclosure.
TMP modular hydraulic presses are constructed on one-piece bases and can be produced in multiples of 2 or 4 presses. The control system is programmed to permit independent operation of each press and provide very accurate control of cycle time, temperature, and pressure.
For improved production rates, the TMP multiple hydraulic presses can be supplied with fully automated loading and unloading systems.
According to Sledz, “We designed the multiple press systems with molders of medical products, small precision parts and work cell applications. Their convenience and efficiency makes them ideal for many rubber molding applications.”
